365 Daily Blessings
Written by Briana Saussy, new art by David Saussy.

Blessing Ways, Jailbroken for the Extraordinary
Not the kind that requires perfection, a certain belief, or the right words said in the right order. These are blessings for the actual texture of a life — for fears that won’t quiet down, for the hands that braid a child’s hair before school, for the creatures of the deep that remind us how much remains unknown, for the prayers already said and the ones we haven’t found words for yet.
As you can read in my first book “Making Magic: Weaving Together the Everyday and the Extraordinary,” I have spent my life’s work as a teacher and ritualist recovering the perennial wisdom of the blessing traditions: the sacred is not merely elsewhere. It is in the datura blooming at night in your garden. It is in the open horizon you haven’t crossed yet. It is in the body moving, the hand reaching, the star-marked fingers doing the quiet work of tending someone you love.
Each Daily Blessing pairs an original hand-drawn image by my beloved David with words that name something true about being alive — and then blesses it. Not to fix it. Not to resolve it. But to say: this too belongs. This too is held.
If you have ever felt that your life contained more meaning than your ordinary days seemed to have room for, these blessings were made for you.

365 Daily Blessings,
an Oracle Deck?
More Than a Card. A Conversation.
An oracle deck is a set of illustrated cards used as a tool for reflection, insight, and guidance. Unlike tarot, which follows a fixed structure, an oracle deck speaks in its own language — the artist’s and author’s unique vision of what matters, what connects, what deserves to be seen.
You draw a card. You sit with the image. You read the words. And something in you — the part that already knows — begins to speak.
But what I’ve learned from years of working with people who use oracle decks daily: the real gift isn’t the card you draw. It’s who you become in the practice of drawing it.
What changes when you work with an oracle deck:
You stop moving through your days on autopilot. When you begin each morning — or end each evening — with a single card and a few quiet minutes, you create a small but genuine pause. A moment of what is actually true for me right now? That question, asked consistently, can move mountains.
You start to recognize your own patterns. The cards become a mirror. Over weeks and months, you notice which images keep finding you, which blessings land differently depending on the season of your life. You begin to see yourself with more clarity and more compassion.
You feel less alone in the hard parts. There is something quietly powerful about holding a card that blesses your fears, or your grief, or your uncertainty — and knowing that someone saw that part of being human clearly enough to draw it, to name it, to say blessed be this too. It doesn’t solve anything. It does something better: it accompanies you.
You have a practice that is genuinely yours. Not borrowed from someone else’s tradition, not requiring equipment or expertise or perfect conditions. Just a deck, a moment, and the willingness to pay attention.
The 365 Daily Blessings Oracle Deck
brings together the Sacred Arts framework that has guided thousands of people. I tried to write these blessings in a language that is both precise and luminous, and now the original artwork renders the everyday world as the sacred landscape it has always been.
This is not a deck that tells you what to do. It’s a deck that helps you remember who you are.
