I recently shared the above prayer that I pray on behalf of myself and my Descendants everyday. It is actually part of a much longer litany that I recite but I had shared this phrasing with one gorgeous soul and she loved it so much that I decided to share it in the Sacred Arts Academy and people loved it there…so, you know how this goes.
I’m so glad people like the prayer and that they find it to be of good use. It also reminded me that prayer is such a powerful language. I know that we are headed into the season of creating vision boards and getting clear on what you want over the course of the next year, but I also know (from personal experience) that the “tried and true” methods of envisioning a future you love don’t always work for everyone, they certainly haven’t always worked for me.
So I am writing this really as a reminder that there is another way to feel into what you want your future to look and feel like – and that can be found in the prayers, blessings, petitions you make every single day – especially the ones you makeover your Descendants, the children, and big endeavors, that will make their presence known long after we are gone. Think about what you want for them (as well as what you don’t want), and it will often give you an awesome insight into what you want for YOU.
